Herdade do Sobroso Grande Reserva is a great red wine from the Alentejo wine region. With a firm and dense body, it presents intense aromas of ripe red fruits, balsamic notes, spices and vanilla and notes of dark chocolate. It is a full-bodied and complex red wine with very fine and polished tannins and fantastic acidity.
Winemaking:
Herdade do Sobroso Grande Reserva is a red wine produced with red grapes of Alicante Boushet, and Cabernet Sauvignon planted in the Alentejo wine region. The fermentation process took place in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it was stayed, for 18 months, in contact with lees, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Herdade do Sobroso Grande Reserva is a red wine of enormous quality, exuberant, complex and very elegant. With predominantly notes of ripe red fruit, aromas of berries, cherry and red apple stand out, associated with notes of black plum, vanilla and ground black pepper. It presents balsamic exuberance, with notes of dark chocolate and spices, very round and polished tannins and delicately sweet acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 15ºC and 16ºC.
