Indie is a red wine from shale soils of the Douro wine region, from vines planted more than 70 years ago. It is a rich and opulent red wine, concentrated and complex. It presents intense notes of ripe black fruits, notes of dry tobacco leaf and dried plums. It is a very elegant, exuberant, mineral red wine that ends with a very well designed acidity.
Winemaking:
Indie is a red wine produced from red grapes of old vines of the Douro wine region as Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Rufete. After the harvest, the grapes were macerated in oak vats, before being pressed, for 72 hours. After the fermentation process, at controlled temperatures, the wine was transferred to used French oak barrels where it was subjected to regular stirring, for 16 months, prior to being bottled.

Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
