Lento Geographic Wines is a Douro red wine produced without haste, from vineyards over a hundred years old. A red wine that presents the pure, genuine flavours of almost lost vineyards in the Douro Valley region. This red wine exhibits the natural and simple, almost virgin aromas of these old vineyards from such pure and rare grapes are displayed.
Winemaking:
Lento Geographic Wines is a red wine produced from red grapes of Old Vines of Touriga Nacional, Bastardo, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz, and Tinto Cão, all autochthonous varieties from the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated for 24 hours with the skins the fermentation process has taken place. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels where it was subjected to regular stirring for 12 months prior to being bottled.

Touriga Nacional, Bastardo, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Lento Geographic Wines is an elegant, fine, unfiltered Douro red wine. It presents notes of ripe red and mill fruit, along with delicate balsamic notes of vanilla, cinnamon and black pepper. It is a red wine that presents enormous balance, elegance, subtle bitterness and acidity, soft tannins and fresh prolongation.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
