Messias Bairrada Classico Garrafeira it's a rich and round red wine, full of concentration and delicious. It has weight and opulent black fruits to go with its fresh acidity. It's an elegant, smoothly textured wine, finishing with some dry tannins.
Winemaking:
Messias Bairrada Classico Garrafeira is a monovarietal red wine from Baga from the Portuguese region of Bairrada. The grapes were de-stemmed, crushed and transferred to stainless steel fermentation vats where they were fermented at a controlled temperature for a period of 8-10 days, followed by 15 days of maceration. The wine was aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and plus 12 months in bottle.

Messias Bairrada Classico Garrafeira shows an intense ruby colour. It is an atlantic characteristic wine, where balsamic nuances of resin and cedars get involved with iodine and salted sensations. Huge structure great tannins.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
