Piteira is a fruity, elegant red wine with well-defined aromas. It displays a bouquet of ripe red fruits, with vegetal notes and floral perfumes. It also highlights balsamic notes with delicate, ripe tannins and very well-integrated acidity.
Winemaking:
Piteira is a red wine produced with red grapes of Alfrocheiro, Trincadeira, Moreto, and Aragonez planted in the Alentejo wine region. The grapes were vinified at controlled temperatures in oak vats. The wine was aged in stainless steel vats for 12 months, where it was subjected to regular stirring during the last 4 months, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Piteira is a red wine with crystalline and pure aromas. Presenting pure aromas of ripe red fruits, it also displays delicate floral notes and subtle balsamic hints along with fruity tannins and elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
The wine bottle should be stored lying down at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
