Quinta do Monte Xisto Oriente is an elegant red wine, full of delicacy and elegant. Highlighting wild red fruit notes, it combines red fruit aromas from trees, such as cherry and red plum, in fine and enigmatic balsamic notes. It is a subtle red wine, velvety, fresh and with a very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Monte Xisto Oriente is a red wine, produced exclusively with indigenous red grapes from Quinta do Monte Xisto, from two small plots exposed to Oriente, of Tinto Cão, and Tinta Francisca, in the Douro wine region. After a long maceration of 5 days, the wine was fermented in cement vats at a controlled temperature for another 20 days. The wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained in contact with fine lees for 18 months and was stirred regularly before bottling.

Quinta do Monte Xisto Oriente is a red wine with a fine and delicate range of aromas, with aromas of wild red fruits highlighting notes of ripe cherries and red blackberries. It is a red wine with delicious balsamic notes, outstanding mineral notes and very balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
