Vila Real Premium is an extraordinarily elegant and complex red wine produced in the Demarcated Douro wine region. It presents intense and complex notes of ripe black fruits, together with balsamic aromas, rockrose, and resinous notes. With very elegant tannins, fresh notes of mint and red berries stand out in its core and very polished acidity.
Winemaking:
Vila Real Premium is a red wine produced from Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional, from autochthones red grapes from old vines of the Douro wine region. After a gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After this process, part of the batch has been transferred to used's French and Hungarian oak barrels, where it has stayed for 12 months prior to being blended and bottled.

Vila Real Premium is a red wine from the Douro of great soul and brightness with extreme elegance in the balance of the intensity of the fruit and the freshness conferred by intense mineral notes and extraordinary barrel. With a silky texture, it still presents juicy tannins and very elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
