Quinta dos Castelares is an elegant and very aromatic organic red wine. It presents aromas of ripe wild fruits, with notes of rockrose, spices and delicate floral notes. With a flavour of blackberries, red berries and cherry, it also highlights freshness in its combination along with a very soft acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta dos Castelares is a red wine produced from red grapes of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional, all autochthonous varieties, from the Douro wine region, carefully cared for in an organic way. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated for 8 hours with the skins prior to being transferred to stainless steel vats where the fermentation process has taken place. After the fermentation process, the wine was subjected to regular stirring for 8 months prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Quinta dos Castelares is an organic red wine with fine and pure aromas. It presents aromas of ripe red fruits, highlighting notes of red cherry, berries and blackberry. It displays soft and fruity tannins, along with fresh mineral notes and delicate acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
