Maynards Ruby Port has aged for 2 years in a combination of large wooden vats and stainless steel vats, so as to preserve the fresh and the elegant style of the Maynards Port's wine. The final blend was filtred and cold treated prior to the bottling, allowing to maintain the stability and brightness of the wine in the bottle.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão.
Tasting Notes:
Maynards Ruby Port shows ripeness and density with balanced acidity and firm tannins. There is good plums fruit as well as cherries. A dry juicy aftertaste completes this good ruby port wine.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.

Bright Ruby in color. A fruity aroma with a clean, sweet tannic structure. Aromas of blackberries and raspberries predominate involved in a very elegant acidity.
