Caves São João Reserva Bruto is a sparkling wine that presents aromatic complexity combined with a very fresh ripe citrus mousse, with mineral notes. It presents notes of toasted bread and apricot peel, enveloped in a fine and elegant bubble and very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Caves São João Reserva Brut is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with grape varieties of Bical, Chardonnay, Arinto, and Maria Gomes planted in the Bairrada wine region. The wine was pressed in pneumatic presses and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks where it stayed for 9 months in contact with fine lees. It's aged in the bottle for 20 months in the cellar, after the second fermentation.

Tasting Notes:
Caves São João Reserva is a brut sparkling wine with fine bubbles that presents fresh aromas of citrus fruits, hints of passion fruit mousse and hints of lime and hints of toasted bread. It is an enveloping, tense and mineral sparkling wine that ends in a balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
