Elpidio Velha Reserva is a Brut sparkling wine of great quality and great aromatic complexity. It presents tropical notes combined with an elegant and fine bubble, wrapped in creamy aromas of banana and passion fruit. It has an elegant body, with notes of toasted bread and yeast and engaging acidity.
Winemaking:
Elpidio Velha Reserva is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with grape varieties of Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay planted in the Bairrada wine region. The wine was pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. After the first fermentation process, the wine was transferred to used French oak barrels, where it stayed for 12 months in contact with fine lees prior to being bottled. After the second fermentation, the sparkling wine aged for 36 months in the cellar.

Elpidio Velha Reserva is a Brut sparkling wine that displays complex aromas of tropical fruits and delicate floral nuances. It presents a very elegant fine bubble, aromas of banana, passion-fruit along with notes of toasted bread and delicious vanilla. It is a fine sparkling wine, aromatically rich, structurally creamy and ends with crisp acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
