Castello D'Alba Special Cuvée Brut is a Portuguese sparkling wine from the Region of the Douro with a mineral character, dominated by fresh fruit aromas, subtle notes of yeast. it features a great acidity and it has a wonderful and creamy mousse.
Winemaking:
Castello D'Alba Special Cuvée Brut is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with grapes from the region of the Douro such as Códega do Larinho, Malvasia Fina, Touriga Franca, Viosinho and Rabigato. The wine was pressed in pneumatic presses and part of the batch was fermented and ageing in French oak barrels, in contact with fine lees with regular stirring. It stayed in the bottle for 16 months in the cellar, after the second fermentation.

Tasting Notes:
Castello D'Alba Special Cuvée Brut is an elegant Portuguese Sparkling wine from the Douro Region with lots of fresh fruit aromas, a fine and persistent bubble, lot of minerality and an amazing acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
It should be served at 8ºC to avoid destroying the flavour of the grape.
