Amarguinha Almond
One of the Portuguese liqueurs, with a long tradition in Portugal, is produced from an old recipe for the bitter almond liqueur and is produced through traditional processes.
Is made from the first-class almonds available in the south Portugal (Algarve) additionally known as "Amendoa Amarga" (bitter almond). This brand is the authentic "Amarguinha" created by Filipe de Brito. Bartenders sometimes use Amarguinha instead for orgeat syrup
Tasting Notes:
Straw yellow colour. Almond blossom fragrance, with complex and intense notes of almonds. Soft, sweet flavour with a slightly bitter taste.
Serve Advice:
Serve with ice and a few drops of lemon juice.
