The Dão reputation is for producing some of the country's best red wines. Not all Dão is red. The whites are also vibrant (especially from the Encruzado grape). There are also wonderful Dão rosés and sparkling wines.
Torreão da Alameda is an elegant white wine, aromatically expansive and velvety in structure. It presents delicious citrus aromas, notes of dried fruit, toasted almond, and delicate floral fragrances alongside dazzling acidity.
