100 Hectares 17 is a red wine of great aromatic amplitude, with a fleshy and enveloping core and imposing tannins. It presents notes of wild black fruits, blackberries and berries along with notes of plum and cherry wrapped in balsamic notes. It is a full-bodied red wine, with mineral notes present and polished acidity.
Winemaking:
100 Hectares 17 is a red wine produced from red grapes from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Franca from the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated for 48 hours with the skins prior to being transferred to used oak vats where the fermentation process has taken place. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it was subjected to regular stirring for 12 months prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
100 Hectares 17 is a robust, solid and full-bodied red wine. It is a red wine that shows notes of ripe black fruits, such as black plum, ripe figs and hints of wild berries. With imposing tannins and a great aromatic amplitude, it also presents mineral notes and very elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
