Barca Velha 1999 is an opulent red wine from Casa Ferreirinha, produced in the Douro. It's densely fulfilled with dark berries fragrances, tobacco, mint and currant aromas. Barca Velha 1999 is produced with the higher altitude's red grapes, from Quinta de Leda in the Douro Valley. After a prolonged maceration the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures prior to being transferred to new's French oak wood barrels. The wines stayed 16 months in French oak barrels prior to being blended with the best wine's batches and rested further 8 years in the bottle prior to the final tastings and the declaration of being or not being a Vintage Barca Velha.

Barca Velha 1999 belongs to a rare red wine from Casa Ferreirinha which was declared Barca Velha for its exceptional quality. This Barca Velha Vintage 1999 is rich, opulent, dense, a supreme wine, with lots of complex aromas and packed with fruity scents with round tannins.
Store and Serve Advice:
Although it is ready to be consumed, once launched in the market, Barca Velha 1999 has a potential shelf-life of more than 20 years and a positive evolution in the bottle. The wine should be carefully decanted to separate its natural deposit. Serve between 16ºC and 18ºC.
Vale da Pia is a red wine from the Douro region that expresses elegant and polished aromas. It has a floral character with well-defined notes of red fruits, violet fragrances and very balanced tannins. It is a fresh, pure red wine and has good acidity.
Cortes de Cima Dois Terroirs is a fresh red wine, robust and full of notes of wild fruits of the Alentejo region. Presents juicy notes of raspberries, berries, and blackberries, along with notes of spices and vanilla. It is a wine with round tannins but awake, and with a very balanced acidity.

Proibido Vinha Velha do Pombal is a red wine from the Douro wine region that has an authentic, rustic profile marked by the enormous aromatic intensity and tannic structure. It is characterized by intense and well present aromas of well-marked black fruit on the nose, with great intensity, toasty notes, spices, and very fine and balanced acidity.
Casal Garcia is a red wine from the Douro Region with very young and intense fruity aromas, floral nuances It is fresh, round with soft tannins and it stands out the presence of red fruits.
