Barca Velha 1999 is an opulent red wine from Casa Ferreirinha, produced in the Douro. It's densely fulfilled with dark berries fragrances, tobacco, mint and currant aromas. Even with 19 years of age, it features tight and fruity tannins surrounded by a pleasant, plum and black cherry flavours coming from its core. Barca Velha 1999 is produced with the higher altitude's red grapes, from Quinta de Leda in the Douro Valley. After a prolonged maceration the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures prior to being transferred to new's French oak wood barrels. The wines stayed 16 months in French oak barrels prior to being blended with the best wine's batches and rested further 8 years in the bottle prior to the final tastings and the declaration of being or not being a Vintage Barca Velha.

Barca Velha 1999 belongs to a rare red wine from Casa Ferreirinha which was declared Barca Velha for its exceptional quality. This Barca Velha Vintage 1999 is rich, opulent, dense, a supreme wine, with lots of complex aromas and packed with fruity scents with round tannins.
Store and Serve Advice:
Although it is ready to be consumed, once launched in the market, Barca Velha 1999 has a potential shelf-life of more than 20 years and a positive evolution in the bottle. The wine should be carefully decanted to separate its natural deposit. Serve between 16ºC and 18ºC.
Fagote Reserva is a wonderfully fresh and mineral red wine from the Douro region, dominated by fresh red fruits fragrances, of dry character with well-balanced hints of good wood, ripe red fruits, delicious vanilla, and a great acidity.
Herdade de S. Miguel Pé de Mãe is an elegant and rich red wine from the Alentejo wine region that presents delicious aromas of red fruits, delicate floral notes, highlighting orange blossom perfumes and balsamic nuances. It is an aromatic and rich red wine, with fleshy and opulent tannins and subtle acidity.
Sobreiro de Pegoes is an aromatic and fruity red wine from the wine region of the Setubal Peninsula. It has aromas of wild red fruits, such as raspberries and blackberries, with some ripe black fruit such as plum and blueberry, balsamic notes and delicate acidity.
Terrenus is a rich and intensely aromatic red wine produced from red grapes from old vines planted in the wine region of Alentejo. It is robust, full of aromas of wild red fruits and of complexity. It is a wine with juicy and sweet tannins, with freshness and soft acidity.
Alento is a fresh and elegant red wine from the Alentejo region. Highlights include the aromas of young, ripe red fruits, mineral notes, and polished and soft tannins along with a sublime acidity.
Intense purple colour. Floral fragrances with a powerful fruit bouquet. Aromas to ripe black fruits such as cherries and blackberries. It has a velvety texture with tannins full of fruit and an acidity that contributes to a long and persistent aftertaste.
