Coroa d'Ouro is a tasty and fruity red wine with red fruit, balanced acidity and delicate tannins. It is an excellent Douro Valley wine to drink for any occasion and an excellent value for money.
Coroa Douro | Red Wine
It was the first Poças DOC Douro wine. Produced from the traditional Douro varieties, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca. Its first harvest was launched in 1990.
Later, the widening of the range appeared with the launch of the Coroa d'Ouro White.
Winemaking:
It is a red wine produced from traditional grape varieties of the Douro region. Selected in the vineyard and cut by hand. Fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
It is full-bodied wine, which features a fruit profile and elegant finish. It accompanies well with grilled meats and soft cheeses or medium intensity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
