Legado is an opulent and imposing red wine of the Douro region, dominated with intense ripe black fruits aromas, complexity, truffle notes, black chocolate and outstanding notes of excellent wood scents. It has an extraordinary freshness, juicy and sharp tannins alongside a great minerality.
Winemaking:
Legado is a red wine produced with field blend red grapes such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Donzelinho, Tinta da Barca, Rufete, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, and Tinta Barroca from the Douro region. After a long period of maceration, at cold, the fermentation process occurred, grapes were vinified separately, at controlled temperatures, in stainless steel tanks for 25 days. Then each variety went to age in new's French oak barrels for 24 months prior to being blended and bottled without any previous treatment.

Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Donzelinho, Tinta da Barca, Rufete, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Legado is an opulent red wine, of a deep soul and the true character of the greats red wines from the Douro region. Charged of great black fruits, its tannins brings roughness, freshness, and minerality, given it an austere character. It presents an outstanding complexity, with truffles hints, touches of dried tobacco leaves and black chocolate notes very well balanced with the residual sugars of the fruit.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 15ºC and 16ºC.
