Winemaking:
Beyra Superior is a red wine produced from autochthonous red grapes, planted on high altitude soils, of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Jaen, and some Rufete red grapes from old vines, from the region of Beira Interior. The wine has been submitted to an extended maceration at cold after being fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to new's French and American oak barrels where it has stayed 12 months prior to being blended and bottled.

Grape Varieties:
Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Jaen, and Rufete from old vines.

Tasting Notes:
Beyra Superior is a red wine voluptuous, vigorous, and austere. Of dense and complex structure, it exudes strong and mineral tannins along with a ripe black fruity and juicy core seasoned by wonderful balsamic notes and finishing by an intense and mineral character.
