Cadão Douro Grande Reserva is a robust, concentrated and complex red wine from the Douro wine region. With concentrated aromas, it highlights aromas of black fruits such as plums and cherries, along with balsamic aromas. It is a red wine full of concentration, dense and velvety. It presents robust tannins, lots of minerality and elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
Cadão Douro Grande Reserva is a red wine produced from autochthonous red grapes of old vines from the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated for a short period with the skins prior to being transferred to stainless steel tanks where the fermentation process has taken place. Then the wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it has remained for 18 months prior to being bottled. The wine has remained further 6 months prior to being offered for sale.

It presents robust tannins and full of fruit, minerality and persistent acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
