Caves São João Lote Especial is an elegant red wine, dense and rich in aromatic intensity. It is a fleshy wine, with intense aromas of ripe black fruits, notes of vanilla and sharp acidity.
Winemaking:
Caves São João Lote Especial is a red wine produced from red grapes of Baga, Touriga Nacional, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon planted in the Bairrada wine region. After a gentle press, with total destemming, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After this process, part of the batch has aged in used's French oak barrels for 8 months prior to being bottled.

Baga, Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tasting Notes:
Caves São João Lote Especial is a fresh red wine, intensely aromatic, and very well structured. Juicy, with aromas of ripe black fruits, spices, and some vanilla. It presents elegant tannins, mineral notes, and acidity full of personality.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
