Comboio do Vesuvio is a complex red wine, fresh and full of aromaticity highlighting red fruit and wild berries. It presents notes of raspberries, cherry and red plum, combined with aromas of blackberries and blueberries. It is a fresh wine with very balanced acidity and solid tannins.
Winemaking:
Comboio do Vesuvio is a red wine produced from red grapes from Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional from the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated for 2 days with the skins prior to being transferred to stainless steel tanks where the fermentation process has taken place. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it was subjected to regular stirring for 9 months prior to being bottled.

Comboio do Vesuvio is an elegant, refined and extraordinarily aromatic red wine from the Douro wine region. It presents expressive and striking notes of red fruits, sprinkled with wild notes and very round tannins. It is a very gastronomic red wine that reveals impressive freshness.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
