Winemaking:
Produced from Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah, planted in our vineyards at the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida. When the grapes attain optimum ripeness they are taken to the winery where they undergo a light crush and de-stalking. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats between 24 and 27 ºC. Maturation is in French and American oak barrels for 4 months and thereafter it is prepared for further ageing in bottle.

Vale Barqueiros Reserva is a red wine of great aromatic intensity, complexity and great length of the mouth. It is a wine that has aromas of macerated red fruits, such as redcurrants, blueberries, and cherries. It features a soft aroma of smoke and notes of cacao. It shows very soft and polished tannins and extraordinarily elegant acidity.
Borges Reserva is a rich red wine from Dão, full of fruit concentration, austere and potent tannins and elegant balsamic aromas. It is a very complex red wine, incorporating mineral notes, which give it freshness and elegance, notes of spices and dry tobacco leaf that give it quality along with well-marked acidity.
Chryseia 2013 it's a powerful, concentrated wine. It has a fine and complex nose, combining the floral character of the Touriga Nacional with fruity notes of black currants and black cherries as well as a hint of toasty bacon. It has a superb concentration with great power whilst also elegant, with a supple and long finish, leaving a lingering aftertaste.
Frei João Reserva is a full-bodied, dense and fruity red wine from the Bairrada region. It presents intense notes of ripe black fruits, fragrances of Mediterranean pine forest, spices and balsamic aromas. It is an elegant red wine, with juicy and ripe tannins and extraordinarily soft acidity.
Cortes de Cima is a dense and juicy red fruity wine produced with Pinot Noir red grapes from the Alentejo region. It is a wine dominated by red berries fruit aromas, hints of dark chocolate and vanilla flavours. It has plenty of complexity and rich and polished tannins.
Quinta do Valdoeiro is an eclectic's red wine full of intense ripe fruit aromas, a lot of freshness, spices, hints of iodine and saline notes. It has very structured tannins, a mineral character that gives it a long and persistent finish.
