Winemaking:
Produced from Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah, planted in our vineyards at the Fundação Eugénio de Almeida. When the grapes attain optimum ripeness they are taken to the winery where they undergo a light crush and de-stalking. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats between 24 and 27 ºC. Maturation is in French and American oak barrels for 4 months and thereafter it is prepared for further ageing in bottle.

Ruby red colour with violet tones. Aroma dominated by fresh red fruits like strawberries and blackberries combined with spicy notes from ageing in barrels. Well balanced acidity, soft and ripe tannins showing a fresh and elegant finish.
Mouchao Tonel 3-4 is an intense and bold red wine of very dark in colour, concentrated and dense structure presents a closed black fruit aroma and phenolic compounds of mint hue. It's a red wine full of complexity, balsamic nuances, tight texture, plenty of body and freshness, austere and full tannins and great acidity.
Pegos Claros Reserva is a red wine that reveals itself extremely complexity, with well-marked black fruits aromas in its aromatic bouquet, balsamic notes, and spices. It is a complex red wine with good acidity and very elegant structure.
Deep violet colour. Complex aromas and rich in ripe red fruits combined with notes of resin and spices. Sturdy structure, well balanced with a lively acidity, firm and elegant tannins wrapped in ripe fruits. Persistent aftertaste, full of intensity.
Buçaco is a red wine that presents rusticity in its aroma, complexity in its structure and elegance in its character. It is a red wine with closed and austere tannins, eloquent in its aromatic bouquet, showing notes of macerated black fruits, floral nuances and balsamic notes along an impressively tuned acidity.
Cabeça de Burro Reserva is a red wine from the Douro wine region that brings sublime aromas of ripe red fruits, intense floral fragrances, and delicious balsamic nuances. It is an intense but delicate wine, with polished tannins but full of minerality and very balanced acidity.
