Farrapo Vinho de Talha is a red wine made in clay amphoras, which expresses a complex and exuberant aromatic bouquet showing notes of ripe red fruits along with earthy notes, iodine nuances and balsamic flavours of cloves and vanilla. It is a red wine with polished and vigorous tannins, extraordinary aromatic elegance and acidity.
Winemaking:
Farrapo Vinho de Talha is a red wine produced with a field blend of red grapes such as Alfrocheiro, Trincadeira, and Alicante Bouschet from the Alentejo wine region. The wine has fermented in clay amphoras at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine stayed in contact with fine lees and was subjected to regular stirring, for 12 months, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Farrapo Vinho de Talha is a red wine of great aromatic intensity, displaying intense aromas of ripe red fruits, floral fragrances of violets and cherry blossom along with delicious mineral notes, essentially earthy notes and humid stone. With silky and polished tannins, it ends in a very elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 15ºC and 16ºC.
