Periquita red wine has a beautiful ruby colour with a soft aroma of wood, vanilla, strawberries, blackberries and pine. His palate is well balanced, fruity with a very interesting freshness and very pleasant and soft tannins.

Winemaking:
Periquita is known to have been the first red wine in Portugal to be bottled in a glass bottle. The winemaking for Periquita red wine was started by the hand-picked grapes followed by the destemming, soft crushing and a cold soaking before fermentation for a period of 48 hours. Fermentation has occurred in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature (20ºC to 22ºC) for 5 days with daily manual pump over. Malolactic fermentation has been in stainless steel vats, as well, followed by maturation in French oak barrels for 4 months.

Castelão, Trincadeira, Aragonêz.
Tasting Notes:
Periquita red wine has a ruby lovely colour. It has an exciting fruity aroma and elegant notes of berries and currants. It's well polished with nice structure and good volume with well-integrated wood notes.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
Romano Cunha Old Vines is an engaging, subtle, ld vines tannically complex red wine with extraordinarily evolved red fruit aromas. It presents a concentration of colour, aromas of ripe red fruit, balsamic notes of vanilla, cocoa and dry tobacco leaf. With structured and solid tannins, it turns out to be a fresh, dry red wine with very elegant acidity.
Valtorto is an elegant, eclectic Douro wine, where the aromas are dominated by ripe black fruits ranging from blackberries to plums and cherries. Its structure is irreprehensible, vertical with density and minerality. It is a wine in which the aromas of fruit balance with their tight and austere tannins.
Quinta da Romaneira is a very elegant red wine that reveals an opens aromatic bouquet with delicate's wild red fruit aromas and Spring flower fragrances. It is a complex red wine where it standing out wild red fruit flavours, licorice, vanilla, balsamic notes, and very soft acidity.
Cortes de Cima Amphora is a wonderful red wine from the Alentejo fermented in amphoras of pure clay, (traditional clay vessels not coated with varnish). It features fantastic aromas of ripe red fruit with earthy notes offering depth and complexity. It has juicy and round tannins, and it has a long and fresh finish.
Reguengos Garrafeira dos Sócios is a red wine from the Alentejo region, with a crystalline appearance, purple violet color, intense and complex aromas of macerated red fruits, evolving into spices and full-bodied black fruit compote with soft tannins and elegant acidity.
Pegos Claros Grande Escolha is a red wine produced with red grapes of 90-year-old old vineyards from the region of Palmela. It presents as markedly complex, dense and opulent, of austere tannins and minerals. It has a huge structure and an extraordinary acidity.
