Periquita red wine has a beautiful ruby colour with a soft aroma of wood, vanilla, strawberries, blackberries and pine. His palate is well balanced, fruity with a very interesting freshness and very pleasant and soft tannins.

Winemaking:
Periquita is known to have been the first red wine in Portugal to be bottled in a glass bottle. The winemaking for Periquita red wine was started by the hand-picked grapes followed by the destemming, soft crushing and a cold soaking before fermentation for a period of 48 hours. Fermentation has occurred in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature (20ºC to 22ºC) for 5 days with daily manual pump over. Malolactic fermentation has been in stainless steel vats, as well, followed by maturation in French oak barrels for 4 months.

Tasting Notes:
Periquita red wine has a ruby lovely colour. It has an exciting fruity aroma and elegant notes of berries and currants. It's well polished with nice structure and good volume with well-integrated wood notes.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
Herdade da Servas Alfrocheiro is a round, elegant and intensely aromatic red wine. It displays an open bouquet, displaying notes of ripe red fruits, floral fragrances and balsamic notes. It presents velvety tannins, silky texture, notes of dry tobacco leaf, mineral nuances and polished acidity.
Oboé Grande Escolha is a rich red wine from the Douro Region dominated by the extreme intensity of its ripe black fruit aromas, its complexity, and its wonderful vanilla hints. Of juicy and solid tannins stands out for the extreme elegance and its fantastic acidity.
Passadouro is a complex and intensely aromatic red wine from the Douro region. It presents floral aromas, wrapped into intense aromas of matured black fruits and balsamic notes, vanilla and spices alongside vigorous and surgical mineral notes.
Pape is an imposing and rich red wine from the Dão wine region. It presents a bright dark color, intense and concentrated aromas of ripe black fruits, fragrances of violet, and balsamic aromas. It is a full-bodied red wine with a velvety texture, firm and solid tannins, and very balanced acidity.
Oboé 17 is a full-bodied and high-density red wine from the Douro Region. From robust aromas to ripe black fruits, it presents complexity, balsamic notes, vanilla, spices and mineral fragrances. Of silky and austere tannins, they stand the great aromatic bouquet along with an extraordinary acidity.
Crasto is a wine of deep violet colour that is full of red fruits and fresh acidity. The tannic structure is well in balance giving a firm edge to the ripe fruits. It's an elegant red wine with good volume, rounded and finely textured.
