Quinta do Carqueijal is a refined, polished and fruity red wine from the Douro region. It is a red wine with an open aromatic bouquet, with aromas of good ripe fruits, notes of vanilla and rosemary notes. It is a fresh wine, medium body and with good acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Carqueijal is a red wine produced from indigenous red grapes of Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca and Tinta Roriz from the Douro Region. After has macerated 5 days at cold it has fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After being for 4 months in stainless steel vats, the wine has been transferred to used's French oak barrels where it has stayed for 4 months, prior to being bottled.

Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz.
Tasting Notes:
Quinta do Carqueijal is a red wine fruity, subtle and of an extraordinary elegance of the Douro region. It has excellent ripeness of fruits, balsamic aromas, fresh and polished tannins, and very balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
