Quinta do Portal Grande Reserva is a structured, full-bodied red wine with great aromatic complexity. It displays delicious aromas of ripe black fruits, notably blackberries, cherries, and blueberries, along with high-quality balsamic notes, spices, and cocoa, austere tannins, and well-integrated acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Portal Grande Reserva is a red wine produced with red grape varieties of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca from the Douro wine region. After the fermentation process, which took place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it stayed in contact with fine lees and subjected to regular stirring for 14 months, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Quinta do Portal Grande Reserva is a rich, intense red wine with great aromatic depth. Notes of ripe black fruit stand out on a balsamic background with hints of vanilla, cocoa and spices enveloped in silky, surgical tannins alongside high acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
The bottle should be stored lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
