Quinta dos Roques Reserva is a manifestly opulent red wine of enormous quality produced in the Dão wine region. It presents intense aromas of fruits, exhibiting aromas of currants and blackberries, and other wild fruits. With very solid tannins, it displays balsamic aromas, resin notes, and very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta dos Roques Reserva is a red wine produced from autochthonous red grapes of Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, and Rufete from the Dão wine region. The wine was subjected to a long cold maceration before the fermentation process. Then the fermentation process took place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine has been transferred to new's French oak barrels where it has stayed for 12 months, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Quinta dos Roques Reserva is a very elegant, extraordinarily complex, and very aromatic red wine. It is a full-bodied red wine, with aromas of red wild fruits and ripe black fruits along with resinous notes, vanilla, and spices. It presents a great balance, solid and powerful tannins, well-highlighted mineral notes, and balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
