Tinto Vulcânico is a red wine with a light body and with mineral and fresh character, combining saline notes with aromas of wild red fruits. It presents juicy tannins, freshness, and very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Tinto Vulcânico is a red wine produced from red grapes as Aragonês, Agronómica, Castelão, Malvarisco, Merlot, Touriga Nacional, Saborinho, and Syrah, planted in the Azores wine region. After a gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After this process, the wine has stayed for 12 months into new's French oak barrels prior to being blended and bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Tinto Vulcânico is an elegant's red wine with a light body and an open ruby color from the wine region of the Azores. It has aromas of alcoholic cherry, iodine and clove notes. In the mouth it is fresh, expressing intense notes of great salinity and presents fine and elegant tannins.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
