Cartuxa Reserva is a Brut Sparkling Wine with enormous aromatic complexity. Featuring notes of tropical aromas, it combines citrus nuances with aromas of passion fruit and banana, as well as notes of orange peel and spices. It highlights subtle aromas of pineapple mousse, fine and elegant bubbles and fantastic acidity.
Winemaking:
Cartuxa Reserva is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with grape varieties of Arinto from the Alentejo wine region. The wine was pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. After the first fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it stayed for 6 months in contact with fine lees and carefully stirred continuously, prior to being bottled. After the second fermentation, it aged for 6 years in the cellar, prior to the disgorgement

Tasting Notes:
Cartuxa Reserva is a complex raw sparkling wine with an extraordinarily complex aromatic bouquet. Highlighting notes of tropical fruit such as passion fruit and pineapple, it presents notes of ripe citrus fruits and fine and rare spices such as pink pepper and cloves. With an enveloping and elegant mousse, it also presents notes of toasted bread and yeast and very well integrated acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
