Caves São João Bruto is an elegant and balanced sparkling wine. Displays citrus notes with hints of toasted bread, ripe apricots, tangerine peel and hints of lime. Persistent bubble, harmonious core and velvety acidity.
Winemaking:
Caves São João Bruto is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with grape varieties of Bical, Maria Gomes, Chardonnay, Arinto, and Baga planted in the Bairrada wine region. The wine was pressed in pneumatic presses and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks where it stayed for 12 months in contact with fine lees. It's aged in the bottle for 6 months in the cellar, after the second fermentation.

Tasting Notes:
Caves São João Bruto is a sparkling wine with outstanding citrus aromas, with notes of lime and very ripe citrus fruit. It presents delicious aromas of toasted bread, yeast notes and floral fragrances. It is a persistent bubble sparkling wine, with a smooth mousse and elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
