Ilustres Desconhecidos Gouveio is a white wine with a markedly gastronomic acidity, a white wine that presents outstanding aromas of citrus fruits, ripe fruits with cantaloupe and melon, and some tropical notes such as passion fruit. It features expressive minerality and a velvety texture.
Winemaking:
Ilustres Desconhecidos Gouveio is a white wine produced from autochthonous white grapes of Gouveio from old vines from the Douro wine region. After a long macerated process period, the wine has fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Then the wine was transferred to new's French oak barrels where it has subjected to regular stirring for 9 months prior to being bottled.

Ilustres Desconhecidos Gouveio is an extraordinarily fresh and mineral white wine from the Douro wine region. It presents intense aromas of white-skinned fruits, such as green apple, pear and melon, sprinkled with nuances of ripe citrus fruit together with a very elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
