Casa Ermelinda Freitas is a mid-dry sparkling wine, fruity, elegant, impactful with a soft mousse and a fine bubble. It features tropical fruit aromas along with a great acidity.
Winemaking:
Casa Ermelinda Freitas Sparkling Mid Dry is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with grapes from the region of Peninsula de Setubal such as Fernão Pires and Arinto. The wine was pressed in pneumatic presses and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks where it stayed for 4 months. It stages in bottle 9 months in the cellar, after the second fermentation and the adding of the licorice.

Casa Ermelinda Freitas is a delicious sparkling wine mid-dry, from the region of the Peninsula de Setubal dominated by a tropical fruit mousse integrated into citric notes, toasted flavours and a vibrant bubble.
Store and Serve Advice:
It should be served at 8ºC to avoid destroying the flavour of the grape.
