Burmester White Port is a wine produced exclusively from white grapes. It is obtained by blending different harvests. Initially, he ages in stainless steel tanks and after one year he is transferred to small French oak barrels in the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. After three years of ageing, the wines are blended a few months before bottling.
Grape Varieties:
Malvasia Fina, Donzelinho Branco, Viosinho, Gouveio.
Tasting Notes:
Burmester White Port is a round and soft wine. The flavours are of fresh white fruits,with just a touch of almonds, and with a very balanced and wonderful acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serve temperature 6-8°C.
Bright light straw color. Aroma floral, dominated by nuances of rosemary flowers and white raisins. It is a very soft wine with an extraordinary balance between the sugars of the fruit and the acidity that gives it a touch of natural sweetness.
Royal Oporto Extra Dry White is a young, fresh and light Port wine. It's dry and it has a pleasantly mild taste.
Golden dry white, delicate wood with notes of dry fruits, prevailling pinnion and a slight resin.
Andresen Port Dry White is packed of fresh white fruit aromas with several woody notes and dried raisin, It has a good volume and a subtle texture ending with a lively acidity and a persistent dry finish.
Burmester Extra Dry White Port is silky and round, with a dry soft sweet profile. The flavours are of fresh white fruits, very soft. There is a touch of almonds and hazelnuts and plenty of freshness.
Cockburns White Port has a gold colour. It has a dried profile but it's rich. Its richness comes from the concentrated flavours of spice, almond, and vanilla. It has some good acidity that gives the wine a refreshing aftertaste to balance the wonderful marmalade's flavour that stands out at the end.
