Bons Ares is an elegant, ripe and balanced red wine. It shows plenty of young black fruits, complexity and a strong minerality sensation complemented by an enthusiastic texture.
Winemaking:
Bons Ares is a red wine from Douro that was produced from Touriga Nacional, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Franca grape varieties. The grapes were subjected to a rigorous selection at the entrance to the cellar before being de-stemmed, crushed and transferred to stainless steel fermentation vats where they were fermented at a controlled temperature for a period of 5 - 7 days, followed by two weeks of maceration. The wine aged 18 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:
Bons Ares has a deep, bright ruby colour. It's elegant, very intense and it has a very seductive fruity aroma with plenty of complexity from the wood flavours.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
