Casa da Passarella O Oenólogo Vinhas Velhas is a complex, powerful, and intensely aromatic red wine. It has a dense structure, with intense aromas of red fruits, such as cherries, raspberries and plums, and balsamic notes. It is a fresh red wine, with juicy tannins and balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Casa da Passarella O Oenólogo Vinhas Velhas is a red wine who is born in one old vineyard of 80 years old of age with the autochthonous red grapes of Baga, Touriga Nacional, Alvarelhão, Tinta Pinheira, Jaen, Alfrocheiro, and Tinta Carvalha, from the Dão wine region. After long períod of maceration, the wine has fermented in cement vats at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine has been transferred for new's French oak barrels where it has stayed, in contact with the lees, for 18 months before being bottled.

Casa da Passarella O Oenólogo Vinhas Velhas is a red wine produced from an 80-year-old vineyard in the Dão wine region. It is robust, with a complex body and persistent aromas of ripe red fruits. It presents a lot of minerality and freshness, full and powerful tannins, and balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
