Cistus Grande Reserva is a complex and rich red wine from the Douro Valley that features ripeness, syrupy weight with earthy notes, robust dark chocolate, vanilla and tobacco flavours. It's ripe with full of dark fruit aromas and concentration and it shows an amazing acidity that gives it balance and plenty of freshness in the final.
Cistus Grande Reserva Douro | Red Wine
Winemaking:
Cistus Reserva is a red wine produced from traditional grape varieties of the Douro region as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca. The Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks after from a prolonged maceration. The wine stays for 21 months in French oak barrels and further 34 months in the bottle before its release to the market.

Tasting Notes:
Cistus Grande Reserva is a Douro's wine fleshy, dense, ripe and opulent. It's so complex that springs notes of vanilla, robust dark chocolate with a mix of oak, dark ripe fruit, and tobacco flavours that are poised with an extraordinary minerality.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
