Herdade do Rocim Amphora is a red wine of ancestral nature, clean and elegant, fruity and velvety. With a mineral character, it displays earthy aromas along with ripe red fruits, with pure aromas of ripe cherries and sour cherries standing out. It reveals juicy and firm tannins, notes of spices and very well integrated acidity.
Winemaking:
Herdade do Rocim Amphora is a red wine produced in the Alentejo wine region with red grape varieties of Moreto, Tinta Grossa, Trincadeira, and Aragonez. After complete destemming, fermentation took place in clay amphoras without controlled temperatures. Then the wine remained in the same clay amphoras, where it remained in contact with fine lees, and where it was subjected to regular agitation for 10 months before being bottled.

Herdade do Rocim Amphora is a red wine with a rustic and ancestral character. Displaying complex and fruity aromas, it presents aromatic notes of ripe red fruits highlighting aromas of ripe cherry, macerated sour cherry and berries. With fleshy and fruity tannins, it also displays notes of spices, earthy hints and fantastic acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
