Quinta das Carvalhas Vinhas Velhas is a rich red wine, opulent, structured and extremely concentrated from the Douro Region. It features aromas of ripe black fruit, notes of very fine wood, spices, dry tobacco, cocoa, and vanilla. Of austere and creased tannins, it combines the intensity of the fruit with intense mineral notes and an extraordinary acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta das Carvalhas Vinhas Velhas is a red wine, produced from indigenous red grapes of a field blend of old vines over 100 years old, from the Douro region. After a long maceration of 14 days, at cold, the wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures and it stayed in new French oak barrels for 18 months, in contact with fine lees, prior to being bottled.

Quinta das Carvalhas Vinhas Velhas is an opulent, super concentrated, vigorous, and complex red wine from the Douro Region, which features ripe black fruit scents, such as cherries, plums, blueberries alongside an incredible freshness and rough and sharped tannins.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
