Quinta do Vallado Reserva Field Blend is an extraordinary and age-worthy red wine. It's a powerful wine, ripe, fruity, packed with black figs and black plum aromas and balsamic oak notes. It has a tight character recalling schist soil with mineral notes, robust tannins and a very complex ending.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Vallado Reserva Field Blend, is produced with grapes of young vineyards, with over than 15 years, and vineyards with over of 80 years old, that are vinified separately. The grapes from the younger vineyards are foot trodden in lagares and fermented for 6 days. The grapes from the old vineyards are vinified in stainless steel tanks. Both wines age in French Allier Oak barriques of 225 liters for 17 months.

Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Sousão.
Tasting Notes:
Quinta do Vallado Reserva Field Blend is a red wine full of concentration with complex notes and fully packed with black fruits aromas. It has great tannins, mineral notes, and a very elegant finish.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
