Vila Regia is a mineral red wine from the Douro Region. It has an elegant profile with plenty of ripe fruit aromas, balsamic notes and some spices well integrated into a lively acidity and its firm tannins.
Vila Regia Douro | DOC Douro
Winemaking:
Vila Regia is a red wine produced from traditional grape varieties of the Douro region as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Franca. After a prolonged, maceration the fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and the wine stays for 9 months until goes to its first racking, to remove any existing sediments. In the end, the batch is subjected to a light filtration and bottling.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca.
Tasting Notes:
Vila Regia is a Douro's red wine with a lively acidity well-integrated with its round tannins and all of its delicious black fruit flavours.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
