Cockburns is a ruby port wine that presents delicious aromas of vibrant and fresh ripe fruit, with prominent notes of blackberries, cherries, and raspberries, along with spices, vanilla, and cinnamon. It is a ruby port wine with dry and structured tannins, a light body, and balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Cockburns Fine Ruby Port is a classic ruby Port wine produced from the blend of the autochthonous red grapes of old vines such as Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, and Tinta Roriz from the Douro wine region. The wine has stayed, an average of 4 years, in French oak barrels prior to being bottled.
