Burmester Extra Dry White Port is a wine produced exclusively from white grapes. It is obtained by blending different harvests. Initially, he ages in stainless steel tanks and after one year he is transferred to small French oak barrels in the cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. After three years of ageing, the wines are blended a few months before bottling.
Grape Varieties:
Malvasia Fina, Donzelinho Branco, Viosinho, Gouveio.
Tasting Notes:
Burmester Extra Dry White Port is dry, soft and sweet. It features plenty of fresh white fruits, with just a touch of dried fruits. It's soft and with a good balance by both at the sugars and acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serve temperature 6-8°C.
This Graham’s Fine White Port has an appealing grapey fragrance and a delicate almond flavours with a gorgeous pale, golden colour.
Golden / brown in colour with a delightful aroma of nuts and almonds which comes through on the palate with a fresh concentrated spirity finish,from extended ageing in small old oak barrels.
Light golden colour. The nose is rich, fragrant with aromas of ripe fruit and notes of honey and oak. On the palate is velvety well balanced, with nuances of caramel.
Color golden straw. The nose is delicate and combines the fragrances of fresh fruit with the soft aromas and touches of the oak. Soft and dry aftertaste.
It has a dark yellow colour and aromas reminiscent of preserved fruit, baked apples and dried flowers. Full bodied on the palate; a smooth and engaging after taste.
Fonseca Porto Siroco presents a pale, straw colour. It has a superb balance among the ripe white fruit, as apples and white figs, and his delicate acidity. The elegant notes of wood ageing give an extraordinary finish to this dry white Port.
