To compose this Montes Claros Reserve Red 2014, which is one of the oldest trademark from the region of Alentejo, we pre-selected very carefully grapes from the oldest vine to follow rigorously their maturation evolution. The selected final blend matured for 12 months in new French and American oaken casks to gain more structure and complexity and then for 6 months in bottles in our cellar.

Store and Serve Advices:
Should be served young (till 5-6 years). Best served at room temperature 16-18ºC.
Herdade de S. Miguel The Friends Collection is an imposing, austere red wine with a wide aromatic spectrum. It is dense, voluminous and with an extraordinary aromatic intensity, with ripe wild fruits, pine notes, spices and balsamic aromas. It is a great red, mineral, deep, fresh wine that ends in a very polished acidity.
Intense purple color. Aromas of great complexity and intensity to the fruits of the forest, pepper, vanilla. Tannins noble, good texture with great balance. Long and silky finish.
Quinta de Sant'Ana Reserva is an elegant and robust red wine from the wine region of Lisbon. It features an open and mineral bouquet, highlighting pepper notes and other spices along with aromas of ripe black fruits such as blueberries, plums, and cherries. It has round, very soft tannins along with polished acidity.
Mouchao Tonel 3-4 is an intense and bold red wine of very dark in colour, concentrated and dense structure presents a closed black fruit aroma and phenolic compounds of mint hue. It's a red wine full of complexity, balsamic nuances, tight texture, plenty of body and freshness, austere and full tannins and great acidity.
Messias Quinta do Penedo is an elegant red wine from the Dão Region. It reveals a bright ruby colour, a mineral aroma, notes of vanilla and berries. It's packed with lots of black macerated fruit aromas as well and it shows a fresh and an invigorating acidity.
Monte da Peceguina is a red wine produced with Touriga Nacional's red grape varieties produced in the Alentejo. It is an extremely complex wine, full of ripe fruit, powerful tannins, a juicy core dominated by blackcurrants and plums and a mineral structure.
