Joao Portugal Ramos Alvarinho Brut is an elegant and complex sparkling wine from the Vinho Verde region. It has an elegant and persistent bubble, creased citric aromas, good minerality and a great acidity.
Winemaking:
Joao Portugal Ramos Alvarinho Brut is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with 100% Alvarinho grapes from the region of Vinho Verde. The wine was pressed in pneumatic presses and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks. It stayed for 4 years in French oak barrels, where it stayed in contact to fine lees and it was subjected to a regular stirred for 8 months prior to maturated 20 months in the bottle.

Joao Portugal Ramos Alvarinho is a brut sparkling wine of great aromatic intensity, characteristic inherent to the Alvarinho variety, where citrus aromas and the ripe tropical fruits stand out. It is a sparkling wine with a fine bubble and a remarkable mousse alongside a fantastic acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
It should be served at 8ºC to avoid destroying the flavour of the grape.
