José Piteira is an elegant, floral red wine, aromatically balanced and rich in fruit scents. It is a red wine that presents notes of wild red fruits, such as raspberries, berries and blackberries, fragrances of violets, velvety structure and very soft acidity.
Winemaking:
José Piteira is a red wine produced with red grapes of Moreto, Aragonês, Alicante Bouschet, and Trincadeira planted in the Alentejo wine region. The grapes were vinified at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats prior to being subjected to a long maceration. The wine aged in for 9 months in small stainless steel barrels with regular stirring, prior to being blended and bottled.

Tasting Notes:
José Piteira is a very aromatic and elegant red wine from the Alentejo region. Highlighting floral aromas, notes of wild red fruits, mineral notes and polished acidity predominate.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC.
