Dark ruby colour.Fragrances floral to violets. Aromas of forest fruits, ripe gooseberry and berries in harmony with wood. Robust but soft tannins and wild fruits with a great balance and complexity. Very soft, pleasant and very persistent.
Winemaking:
Quinta da Fonte do Ouro Touriga Nacional, was produced from a careful selection of grapes in the harvest. The grapes are destemmed and crushed to extract the musts. The fermentation occurred at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats with prolonged maceration, in contact with the skins. It aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. He also spent 6 months in the bottle before being sold.
