In Ferreira Tawny Port the brandy is added at the interruption of the fermentation. Aged in oak casks. During ageing, wines are refreshed by adding tawny wines if needed. The average age is 4 years.

Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela
Tasting Notes:
Bright red colour. Aroma fresh and delicate, remembering spices and nuts On the palate is an elegant wine, with a good balance of ripe tannins and sweetness. Pleasant ending.
Store and Serve Advice:
The Port bottle should be stored standing, avoiding direct light and excessive humidity, ideally at a constant temperature of 16ºC-18ºC. Is ready to consume and will not win if stored for a long time. Serve between 14ºC and 16ºC.
Caramel colour with golden nuances. Aromas of dried fruit and raisins, with notes of vanilla and tobacco. In the mouth it is velvety with a very enveloping acidity. The palate has a sweet and alcoholic flavor.
Dow's Tawny combines subtle fruit with delicious nutty walnut flavours derived from ageing in the barrel. It is a port ready to drink and enjoy and does not require more bottle ageing.
