Colheita Port 1995 Messias is a sweet, soft Port, with plenty of fruit. Sultana and orange jelly flavours are cut with some spirit. The wine leans much more towards fruit than wood, although its wonderful acidity comes from the citric, confited orange peel.
Colheita Port 1980 Messias is an opulent, ripe, sweet and very concentrated Aged Tawny Port wine, with wonderful old wood flavours with raisins and prunes. It has an intense acidity that is a perfect counterpoint to its mature fruits. It has a fantastique and lingering ending.
Colheita Port 1975 Messias is a ripe, sweet tawny Port wine, with caramel, full of concentration with a dry character and packed with ripe raisin and sultana flavours. It is a luxurious wine.
Andresen Colheita Port 1998 is a wonderfully balanced wine, showing slight age and maturity but also flavours of nuts and orange marmalade. It has plenty of freshness and maturity with delicious residual sugar from the candied fruit aromas.
This Andresen Colheita has a perfect balance between its elegant character and the mature complex aromas from the good ageing in the oak casks. It has a sweet-dried core with lots of intensity and a poised acidity in the end.
Andresen Colheita Port 1975 features several complex aromas due to the great wood ageing in oak barrels. It's delicious with plenty of dried apricots and raisin flavours. It is poised and opulent wine.
Andresen Colheita Port 1980 is an aged Tawny Port that is perfect in concentration, rich, dense and with perfumed fruits that are still in evidence behind the fantastic old aromas of the wood ageing.
Port Miniature Messias Colheita Tawny 2005 is a fantastique miniature of the Port wine Colheita Tawny 2005 from Caves Messias that features a rich and concentrated core, with plenty of fresh fruit aromas wrapped in dried candied fruit aromas and a citric acidity.
